Dr. Brittany Westlake, Electric Power Research Institute

Dr. Brittany Westlake is a Scientist at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in the Energy Storage and Distributed Generation Program.  At EPRI she works to understand battery and storage technology performance characteristics and the role they play in a variety of applications from stationary storage to the transportation sector.  Brittany also works on understanding end-of-life and recycling implications of batteries and energy storage systems to enable utility planning as they deploy these grid systems.  Prior to joining EPRI, she worked as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy.
