Dr. Hany Eitouni co-founded Seeo, Inc. in 2007 and has been its Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Advanced Engineering since September 3, 2015. Dr. Eitouni has also served as Director of Materials Development and Vice President of Advanced Materials at Seeo, Inc.
Dr. Eitouni has more than 15 years of experience with polymer materials, with specialized expertise in ionic transport through polymers and was on the team that developed the Berkeley Lab solid polymer electrolyte technology currently in commercialization by Seeo. Dr. Eitouni has successfully led the effort to design, synthesize, and optimize Seeo’s proprietary polymer electrolytes. He also leads R&D of new cell technologies.
Dr. Eitouni’s work has been recognized through numerous awards including the prestigious TR35 award from MIT’s Technology Review, given to top young innovators who exemplify the spirit of innovation in the fields of medicine, computing, communication, energy and nanotechnology. He received a PhD from University of California, Berkeley and a BS from University of Texas, Austin, both in chemical engineering.
