Director of Policy, Center for Sustainable Energy
Sachu Constantine is the Director of Policy for the Center for Sustainable Energy. He has nearly 20 years’ experience managing and implementing complex clean energy projects and programs, including strategic planning and policy analysis. At the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE), he oversees all areas of policy including government and regulatory affairs, legislative analysis, strategic planning and program support and analysis, as well as providing guidance to senior management and the board of directors on local, state and regional policy developments.
Constantine joined CSE from solar manufacturer SunPower Corporation, where he managed strategic partnerships and public policy. Previously, he spent three years with the California Public Utilities Commission as the lead analyst for the California Solar Initiative as well as other distributed generation issues.
Constantine graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and holds a master of public policy degree from University of California, Berkeley.
